NCB Brings Back Fugitive Drug Trafficker Virender Singh Basoya From UAE

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has successfully brought back fugitive drug trafficker Virender Singh Basoya from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Basoya, a resident of Delhi, was taken into custody upon his arrival at IGI Airport, New Delhi, on Friday morning. He had been arrested in the UAE in June 2026 pursuant to an INTERPOL Red Notice published at the request of NCB.

The case against Basoya originated in Pune in February 2024, when the Pune City Police seized 500 grams of Mephedrone.
