MP Bus Fares Rise 60% to Rs 2 per km

Bus travel in Madhya Pradesh became more expensive on Wednesday as the state government increased passenger fares for all categories of stage carriage buses. The fare for general buses has been raised to Rs 2 per passenger per km from Rs 1.25 per km. This is the first fare revision since 2021.
