MP Govt May Transfer IAS Officers Over Poor Performance

The Madhya Pradesh government is set to transfer several IAS officers, including collectors, due to their poor performance in handling issues related to farmers and displaced people.

Minister for Women and Child Development Department Nirmala Bhuria had complained about secretary GV Rashmi and director Nidhi Nivedita, which may lead to their transfer. The director had recently been involved in a dispute with the employees of the department.

The government may also reduce the burden of Principal Secretary Sukh Veer Singh, who currently holds the charge of two important departments - PWD and public health and medical education. Similarly, Principal Secretary Manish Singh may be freed from the technical education department.

The number of departments handled by Principal Secretary E Ramesh Kumar may also be reduced. Currently, Ramesh holds the charge of the revenue, OBC welfare, and Narmada Valley Development departments.
