Vasai Bike Crash Kills 20-Year-Old Man

A 20-year-old man, Ibrahim Sheikh, died after the motorcycle he was riding crashed into the railing of a bridge on the Kalamb-Nirmal road in Vasai on Sunday night. His 19-year-old girlfriend, Sneha Gaikwad, sustained serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.

The couple had left for Kalamb beach on Ibrahim's motorcycle, with Sneha travelling from Vikhroli to meet him in Nalasopara. At around 11 p.m., Ibrahim lost control of the motorcycle while crossing the Kalamb bridge, causing it to crash directly into the bridge railing.

Local residents rushed to the spot and took both injured victims to the D.M. Petit Municipal Hospital in Nalasopara for treatment. Despite medical efforts, Ibrahim died at around 1:30 a.m. on Monday. Sneha remains in serious condition and is receiving medical care.
