Katraj-Kondhwa Flyover Partially Closes For Repairs

The Katraj-Kondhwa flyover in Pune will undergo partial night closures from August 31 to September 30 for structural repairs.

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced that the flyover will be closed between 11 pm and 6 am to facilitate the repair work and ensure the safety of motorists.

The civic administration has planned a traffic diversion during the closure period, where vehicles travelling on the flyover will be diverted through the service road below the flyover.

The PMC has appealed to motorists to cooperate with the authorities and use alternative routes wherever possible to avoid congestion and delays.

According to PMC Superintending Engineer (Projects) Rajendra Jadhav, the repair work is being undertaken from a safety perspective.

Jadhav has appealed to citizens and vehicle owners to cooperate so that the work could be completed quickly and safely.

The civic body has also apologised for the inconvenience caused to commuters during the repair period.

The Katraj-Kondhwa flyover is a crucial road link in Pune, and the repair work is expected to improve the safety and condition of the flyover.
