4,454 Students Secure MBA/MMS Seats In Maharashtra Colleges

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell announced the third allotment list for MBA/MMS admissions on Monday, with 4,454 students securing seats in management institutes across the state.

The third Centralised Admission Process (CAP) round saw 12,817 students submit their college preferences. Of these, 4,454 students were allotted seats according to their preference order.

A total of 4,714 students were allotted one of their top six preferred colleges, marked as “Auto Freeze”, making it mandatory for them to accept the allotted college. Students who reject an Auto Freeze allotment will not be eligible for the fourth CAP round.

The third CAP round was conducted for 20,869 available MBA/MMS seats. The CET Cell considered the preferences submitted by the 12,817 students within the stipulated deadline while preparing the third CAP allotment list.

This year, a total of 58,153 MBA/MMS seats were available across the state. In the first and second CAP rounds, 31,537 students secured admission, while 5,747 students secured admission through betterment.

Students allotted colleges in the third round must report to their respective institutes between August 25 and August 27, submit required documents, and pay prescribed fees to confirm their admission.

The CET Cell will announce the provisional vacant seats for the fourth CAP round on August 28.
