Bal Asha Trust Marks 40 Years of Caring for Mumbai's Abandoned Children

Bal Asha Trust, a Mumbai-based organisation, has been providing care and rehabilitation to abandoned and destitute children for the past 40 years. Only when reunification is not possible, and the stipulated legal process is completed, is a child placed for adoption. In the last year alone, the trust cared for 165 children, more than 100 of whom were reunited with their families, while 14 were legally adopted.
