The government is working on irrigation expansion projects in the Ken-Betwa, Narmada, Tapti, Kalisindh, and Parvati river basins to enhance irrigation coverage and boost agricultural productivity across the state. Dr. Yadav said 16 government departments were working together to increase farmers' incomes by promoting allied economic activities alongside conventional farming.
The Chief Minister also mentioned that 42.70 lakh farmers had received ₹4,000 each under government welfare initiatives. Financial assistance had also been extended to beneficiaries of the Ladli Behna Yojana, differently abled persons, and widows. The government is accelerating the provision of roads, electricity, and tap water in villages to improve rural living standards.
