Madhya Pradesh Organ Donations Remain Low at 1.6%

Madhya Pradesh has witnessed a significant increase in body and cornea donations over the last decade, with a nearly 50-fold jump. However, the state's contribution to the national organ transplant pool remains low, accounting for only 1.6% of the 16,542 organ transplant procedures performed in India in 2023.
