Haptik Launches AI Platform For Small Businesses

Reliance Jio-backed Haptik has launched SOLO, an AI-native platform designed to provide solopreneurs and small businesses with an automated marketing, sales, and customer support team. The platform aims to empower over two million solopreneurs and small businesses in the next three years by making enterprise-grade AI capabilities accessible to all, regardless of business size or technical expertise.

Haptik's CEO, Aakrit Vaish, is not mentioned in the article, however, Chief Executive Officer Ahshad Jussawala said the company wanted to move beyond offering a collection of AI tools and instead build something that delivers real business impact. SOLO is positioned as an autonomous AI business team, rather than a collection of standalone AI tools. The platform currently includes two AI teammates, Tara and Ved, who handle marketing, sales, and customer support.

The idea for SOLO came from insights gathered through Haptik's Interakt platform, which serves over 100,000 small and medium businesses. The company found that entrepreneurs were increasingly experimenting with AI but still needed a way to operate multiple tools without hiring dedicated staff. SOLO functions by connecting a business's website or Instagram page, or uploading a product image, after which it creates marketing plans, generates content, produces images and videos, and launches advertising campaigns. The platform also responds to customer queries on WhatsApp and follows up with leads until they convert.

Haptik piloted SOLO with over 200 businesses ahead of its commercial launch. The pilot results showed faster response times and higher conversions. Response times to customer enquiries dropped from 15-30 minutes to as little as one minute, and AI-driven campaign optimisation generated up to 120 enquiries on an advertising spend of Rs 2,500. Businesses saw nearly three times more customer conversions as the AI followed up with leads contextually.

Despite the automation, Haptik said the biggest takeaway from the pilot was that entrepreneurs wanted to retain control over key business decisions. This is why the company built an approval workflow mechanism into the product, allowing owners to review and approve AI-driven actions before they go live. SOLO follows an outcome-based pricing model, with free plans available and paid plans starting at Rs 2,000.

The launch of SOLO is expected to have a significant impact on small businesses and solopreneurs in India. With its automated marketing, sales, and customer support capabilities, SOLO has the potential to increase efficiency and productivity for these businesses. The platform's outcome-based pricing model also makes it accessible to businesses of all sizes. As Haptik continues to develop and improve SOLO, it will be interesting to see how the platform evolves and expands to meet the needs of its users.

In the future, Haptik plans to continue to develop and improve SOLO, with a focus on adding new features and capabilities to the platform. With its strong backing from Reliance Jio, Haptik is well-positioned to make a significant impact in the AI and small business spaces. As the platform continues to grow and evolve, it will be exciting to see how it helps to empower solopreneurs and small businesses in India.

The launch of SOLO is a significant development in the AI and small business spaces. With its automated marketing, sales, and customer support capabilities, SOLO has the potential to make a major impact on the way small businesses and solopreneurs operate. As the platform continues to grow and evolve, it will be interesting to see how it helps to shape the future of business in India.

In conclusion, the launch of SOLO is a major milestone for Haptik and Reliance Jio. With its innovative AI-native platform, SOLO has the potential to revolutionize the way small businesses and solopreneurs operate. As the platform continues to develop and improve, it will be exciting to see how it helps to empower and support these businesses.
