Titan Company Q1 Net Profit Jumps 63% to ₹1,777 Crore

Titan Company Ltd reported a 63% rise in its consolidated net profit to ₹1,777 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2026. This significant increase is compared to the company's net profit of ₹1,091 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

The company's consolidated total income grew by 40% to ₹20,753 crore for the June quarter of FY27, compared to ₹14,778 crore in the same period of FY26. This growth excludes bullion and Digi-gold sales.

The jewellery division's income, excluding bullion and Digi-gold sales, increased by 43% to ₹18,253 crore over Q1 FY26. The watches portfolio recorded a 21% rise in total income to ₹1,543 crore, while the eye-care business saw its total income grow by 21% to ₹289 crore.

Consolidated profit before tax stood at ₹2,429 crore, marking a 64% increase from ₹1,480 crore in the year-ago quarter. Adjusting for a custom duty increase in gold, the profit before tax grew by 37%.

Ajoy Chawla, Managing Director of Titan Company, said the first quarter was a strong opening with consumer businesses registering 40% year-on-year growth. He added that the company's brands across various segments continue to deliver value to customers seeking premium offerings.

During the quarter, Titan expanded its retail presence by adding 33 net stores in India, including Tanishq, Mia, beYon, and Caratlane outlets. The Tanishq business also opened two new stores in the GCC region, while the Damas business closed one net store.

The Emerging Businesses, which include SKINN Fragrances, IRTH Women's Bags, and Taneira Indian Dress Wear, reported an 18% increase in total income to ₹128 crore for Q1 FY27, though they recorded a loss of ₹39 crore. Titan Engineering & Automation Limited (TEAL) saw its total income rise by 43% to ₹438 crore for the quarter.
