Kolkata NEET Protest: 14 Arrested, Sent to Police Custody

A Kolkata court has sent 14 people arrested in connection with the violence during the NEET paper leak protest on July 24 to two days of police custody. The arrested individuals will be produced before the session court again on July 28 for further orders.

According to police sources, the violence that erupted during the protest resulted in injuries to several journalists and police personnel. The police have so far identified 70 persons involved in the violence.
