Pune Water Cuts Ruled Out Amid Rising Dam Storage

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced that there are no immediate plans to impose water cuts in the city. This decision comes after recent rainfall has significantly improved water storage in the reservoirs that supply Pune.

According to the latest figures, the six dams that supply water to Pune have sufficient storage to meet the city's needs. The Khadakwasla reservoir is currently at 79.11% of its usable capacity, while the Varasgaon reservoir is at 68.58%.
