Railways Adds Temporary Halt For 5 Trains At Isarda

The Indian Railways has announced a temporary halt for five trains at Isarda railway station in Madhya Pradesh to cater to the increased number of devotees expected during the Shravan Mela 2026.

The temporary halt will be in effect on August 3, 10, 17, and 24, 2026, and will allow pilgrims to easily travel to the fair.

The five trains that will halt at Isarda station are the Jabalpur-Ajmer Express, Ajmer-Jabalpur Express, Mysuru-Jaipur Express, Durg-Ajmer Express, and Sainagar Shirdi-Bikaner Special.

Each train will stop at the station for two minutes, with specific timings allocated to each train.

For instance, the Jabalpur-Ajmer Express will halt from 10:01 am to 10:03 am, while the Ajmer-Jabalpur Express will stop from 6:32 pm to 6:34 pm.

The Mysuru-Jaipur Express, Durg-Ajmer Express, and Sainagar Shirdi-Bikaner Special will halt at 4:50 am, 1:30 pm, and 7:14 pm respectively.

Railway officials stated that a large number of devotees travel to the Isarda area during the Shravan Mela every year, and the temporary halt is expected to improve connectivity and make travel more convenient for pilgrims.

To avoid any inconvenience, passengers have been advised to check the latest train schedule and running status on the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) app or the official Railway enquiry website before starting their journey.
