Advait Energy Wins ₹134.62-Crore Order for High-Voltage Restoration Systems

Advait Energy Transitions Limited has secured a turnkey contract worth ₹134.62 crore from Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Limited (MPPTCL) for the design, manufacturing, and supply of Emergency Restoration Systems (ERS) for extra-high-voltage transmission lines.

The contract, awarded against MPPTCL Tender No. TR-23/2025, includes the supply of ERS suitable for 400 kV, 220 kV, and 132 kV voltage classes, along with all required accessories. The project must be completed within 18 months.

Emergency Restoration Systems are temporary transmission structures used to restore electricity networks after towers or lines are damaged, allowing utilities to resume power transmission while permanent repair or reconstruction work continues.

The order strengthens Advait's position in the power transmission infrastructure segment and gives the company a sizeable domestic project for execution over the next year and a half. The scope of the project spans design through manufacturing and final supply, making it an end-to-end assignment.

Advait disclosed the contract under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India's Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015. The company stated that the order-awarding authority is a domestic entity and that neither its promoter nor promoter group companies have any interest in MPPTCL.

The transaction does not fall within the related-party framework, according to the filing. Advait Energy Transitions was formerly known as Advait Infratech Limited, and its shares are listed on the BSE and the National Stock Exchange.

The latest contract adds to the company's executable order pipeline and is expected to support revenue visibility during the stipulated 18-month delivery period. Execution will remain central, given the specialized engineering requirements across three voltage classes and the need to supply complete ERS packages with accessories under the contract.

The contract is a significant development for Advait Energy, as it demonstrates the company's capabilities in the power transmission infrastructure segment. The project's completion is expected to have a positive impact on the company's revenue and profitability.

In the context of India's growing power transmission needs, the contract highlights the importance of emergency restoration systems in maintaining grid stability and ensuring uninterrupted power supply. The project's successful execution will be crucial in demonstrating Advait's expertise in this area.

The contract's significance extends beyond Advait Energy, as it underscores the importance of investing in power transmission infrastructure to support India's economic growth. The project's completion is expected to contribute to the country's efforts to improve its power transmission network and reduce power outages.

In conclusion, the contract awarded to Advait Energy Transitions Limited is a significant development for the company and the power transmission sector as a whole. The project's successful execution will be crucial in demonstrating the company's capabilities and contributing to India's efforts to improve its power transmission network.
