Sachin Ahir's Mumbai Home Robbed of ₹2.65 Crore

Sachin Ahir, a Shinde Sena leader and Maharashtra Legislative Council Deputy Chairperson, has been robbed of valuables worth ₹2.65 crore from his Mumbai residence in Worli.

The theft was discovered after the family noticed that expensive items were gradually going missing from the house. A verification revealed that valuables worth approximately ₹2.65 crore had disappeared, prompting Ahir to approach the police.

The stolen property includes gold biscuits, diamond jewellery, valuable silverware, and cash. The Mumbai Police have arrested Pravin Ramesh Solanki, a domestic help who had been working with the Ahir family for 24 years.

Solanki was entrusted with responsibilities at both the residence and the family's office due to his long association with the family. During interrogation, he allegedly confessed to selling the stolen valuables and distributing the proceeds among his associates.

The police are now working to trace the stolen property and identify others who may have been involved in disposing of the valuables. The investigation is being carried out by the Mumbai Crime Branch.

Sachin Ahir's son, Krishna Ahir, resides with the family at Gulrukh Building on Worli Sea Face, where Solanki had been employed for more than two decades. The police suspect that Solanki's familiarity with the household allowed him to carry out the theft without immediately raising suspicion.

The case was transferred to the Crime Branch for a detailed investigation due to the high value of the stolen property and the high-profile nature of the victim.

The incident has raised concerns about the security of prominent individuals' residences in Mumbai. The police are taking steps to ensure that such incidents are prevented in the future.

The investigation is ongoing, and the police are working to recover the stolen valuables and bring the perpetrators to justice.

The case is a significant one, given the high value of the stolen property and the prominent position of the victim. It highlights the need for increased security measures to be taken to protect the residences of high-profile individuals in Mumbai.
