World Padel League Returns To Mumbai
Mumbai hosts World Padel League from Aug 12-16. Six teams compete.

The World Padel League is set to return to Mumbai's Dome, SVP Stadium, from August 12-16, 2026. This will be the league's biggest edition yet, with six franchise teams and 36 international players from five countries, including Spain, Argentina, and Brazil.
The six franchises competing in the league are Vedanta Leopards, Khan Tigers, Panorama Panthers, Aussie Mavericks Jaguars, Game Changers Lions, and VB Realty Cheetahs. Each team is owned by prominent groups, including Vedanta Group, Sohail Khan Entertainment, and Panorama Studios.
According to Mahesh Bhupathi, Co-Founder of the World Padel League, the league has played a significant role in bringing world-class padel to Indian audiences. He stated that every season of the World Padel League has reinforced padel's growing momentum in India.
The current edition of the league comes at a time when padel is witnessing unprecedented momentum in India. The India Padel Report 2026 projects that the country's padel market will grow from US$25-30 million to US$250-300 million by 2036. The player base has also surged from 500-1,000 players in 2022 to nearly 100,000 in 2025.
The World Padel League remains committed to accelerating the sport's growth in India by bringing global stars to the country and inspiring greater participation. With a bigger venue and an elite international field, Season 4 is poised to be the league's biggest and most impactful edition yet.
