Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will honour 81 teachers from across Uttar Pradesh with the State Teacher Award 2025 and the Chief Minister Teacher Award 2025 on September 5, which is observed as Teachers' Day.
The awards recognize the outstanding contributions of teachers to education and nation-building. A grand ceremony will be held at the Yogiraj Baba Gambhirnath Auditorium in Gorakhpur to felicitate the selected teachers.
The 81 teachers include 61 from the Basic Education Department and 20 from the Secondary Education Department. Among them, 33 are women teachers, with 31 from Basic Education schools and 2 from Secondary Education schools. Five teachers from the Secondary Education Department will receive the Chief Minister Teacher Award.
