Congress Launches 200-Km Cyclothon In Madhya Pradesh

The Madhya Pradesh Congress launched a 200-km 'Yuva Swabhiman Cyclothon' from Indore to Bhopal on Tuesday. The event is part of the party's 40-day 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' campaign, which aims to highlight issues related to education, unemployment, and alleged paper leaks in competitive examinations.

The cyclothon was flagged off by state Congress president Jitu Patwari, with students, youth, and party workers in attendance. The journey began from DAVV, RNT Marg, and will pass through several towns, including Dewas, Sonkatch, and Ashta, before reaching Bhopal on July 15.

According to Patwari, the campaign is not just a bicycle rally but a movement to protect the future, education, and dignity of young people. He alleged that repeated paper leak incidents and delays in government recruitment have affected the careers of lakhs of students. Patwari also criticized the Central and state governments over unemployment, vacant teaching posts, and the rising cost of higher education.

The Congress is demanding a fair investigation into paper leak cases, strict action against those responsible, an annual calendar for competitive examinations and government recruitment, timely filling of vacant government posts, and free quality education from kindergarten to postgraduate level. The party is also calling for transparency and accountability in the recruitment process.

The 40-day campaign began in memory of 21 students who allegedly died by suicide due to stress caused by the NEET paper leak and problems related to competitive examinations. Several senior Congress leaders, including former minister Sajjan Singh Verma, MLA Sachin Yadav, and office-bearers of the Youth Congress, NSUI, and Women's Congress, joined the event.

The 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' campaign is a call to action by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, and the Congress hopes to raise awareness about the issues affecting young people in the state. The campaign will cover several districts and will include rallies, protests, and public meetings.

The Madhya Pradesh Congress has been critical of the state government's handling of education and employment issues. The party has alleged that the government has failed to address the concerns of students and young people, and has instead exacerbated the problems.

The 'Yuva Swabhiman Cyclothon' is a unique initiative by the Congress to engage with young people and highlight their concerns. The party hopes to build momentum for the campaign and put pressure on the government to take action on the issues affecting young people.

In conclusion, the 'Yuva Swabhiman Cyclothon' is an important initiative by the Madhya Pradesh Congress to highlight the issues affecting young people in the state. The campaign has the potential to raise awareness and build momentum for change, and it will be interesting to see how the government responds to the demands made by the Congress.

The issue of education and employment is critical for the youth of Madhya Pradesh, and it is essential that the government takes concrete steps to address their concerns. The 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' campaign is a step in the right direction, and it is hoped that it will lead to positive change for the young people of the state.
