Panvel Gets 500 MLD Water From Shilar Project

Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) has been allocated 500 million litres per day (MLD) of water from the proposed Shilar project in Karjat taluka.

The state government's decision is expected to address the city's long-term water requirements up to 2057. Currently, Panvel faces a water deficit despite receiving around 210 MLD from six different sources.
