The India Meteorological Department forecasts intermittent light to moderate rain later in the day. However, isolated heavy rainfall with lightning and gusty winds is also predicted.
Public transport services, including BEST buses and local trains, are operating normally. Although some trains are running slightly late, the overall situation is under control.
The respite from heavy rain has brought relief to the city, which had been experiencing disruptions due to the relentless showers. The IMD's warning of isolated heavy rainfall serves as a reminder that the monsoon season is still active.
