Maha Indoor Cricket Association Hosts Junior State Championship

The Maha Indoor Cricket Association (MICA) will host the Junior State Championship and selection trials for the 2026-27 season on August 16 and 17 at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Sports Complex in Jalgaon.

District Associations are required to submit their entries through WhatsApp by August 10, 2026. For age verification, an Aadhaar Card or a School Bonafide Certificate will be accepted. All players must participate in their official district uniform, and each team can have a maximum of 14 members, including 12 players, one coach, and one manager.

The Founder General Secretary of MICA, Balasaheb (Bal) Toraskar, and Founder Chairman Kshitij Vedak have urged all District Associations to submit their entries before the deadline and participate in large numbers. They believe that the Jalgaon Championship will provide a gateway to national and world indoor cricket for many promising young players from Maharashtra.
