Bhopal's Ganesh Utsav Begins With 80th Anniversary Celebrations

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, is celebrating the 80th anniversary of its iconic Ganesh Utsav, also known as 'Bhopal Ke Raja'. The Shri Dol Gyaras Samiti has been installing an idol of Lord Ganesha at Peepal Chowk in the Old City since 1947.

Other notable pandals include a 17-foot idol of Ganesha at Mata Mandir, a 12-foot idol of Ganesha riding a Nandi in Somwara, and a Simhastha-themed pandal in Sindhi Colony, showcasing Mahakal and the Kshipra river.
