MCC Adds 30 MBBS Seats To NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 2

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has added 30 new MBBS seats to the Round 2 seat matrix of NEET UG Counselling 2026.

These newly added seats are spread across three medical colleges in Karnataka and Bihar. The seats were added after the counselling authority received information from the respective institutes.

The 30 new MBBS seats include 15 seats at Bagalkote Medical College and Research Institute in Karnataka, seven seats at Government Medical College Chapra in Bihar, and eight seats at Shri Ram Janki Medical College and Hospital in Bihar.

The Round 2 choice-filling and locking process is currently underway. Candidates can modify and lock their choices until September 9, 2026.

The reset facility for Round 2 choice filling is available until 5 PM on September 7, allowing candidates to clear their existing choices and make fresh selections before proceeding with the choice-filling process.
