CJP's Ashutosh Ranka Accuses BJP Of Threats

Ashutosh Ranka, co-convenor of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), alleged on Tuesday that the party's press meet in Kolkata was cancelled due to threats from BJP leaders.

The CJP had booked the Bharat Sabha hall in north Kolkata for the meet, but the owners cancelled the booking after receiving threat calls.

Six other halls also refused to host the event, citing massive pressure from the state. Ranka stated that the BJP is afraid of the CJP and its message.

He added that the party will find alternative ways to meet with the people of Bengal and continue to push for issues to be fixed, particularly in government schools.

The CJP had earlier faced a setback when a press conference at the Kolkata Press Club was cancelled due to an electricity issue.

Ranka also urged the Bengal government to resolve the issues faced by the people, stating that the more the BJP tries to stop them, the stronger the CJP will become.

This comes after Ranka urged Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari to arrest those involved in the killing of a CJP volunteer's father in Bankura within 10 days.

The CJP has been actively involved in highlighting issues in Bengal, including the condition of government schools.

The party's efforts have been met with resistance from the BJP, which has led to the cancellation of their events.

Despite the setbacks, the CJP remains committed to its cause and will continue to find ways to reach out to the people of Bengal.

The incident highlights the ongoing tensions between the CJP and the BJP in Bengal, with the CJP accusing the BJP of trying to silence them.

The CJP's persistence in the face of adversity has garnered attention and support from the people of Bengal, who are eager for change and willing to listen to alternative voices.

As the CJP continues to push for reforms and accountability, it remains to be seen how the BJP will respond to the party's growing influence in the state.
