CJP's Ashutosh Ranka Accuses BJP Of Threats

Ashutosh Ranka, co-convenor of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), alleged on Tuesday that the party's press meet in Kolkata was cancelled due to threats from BJP leaders.

The CJP had booked the Bharat Sabha hall in north Kolkata for the meet, but the owners cancelled the booking after receiving threat calls.

Six other halls also refused to host the event, citing massive pressure from the state. Ranka stated that the BJP is afraid of the CJP and its message.
