Advait Energy Wins ₹51.62 Crore Gujarat Power Contract

Advait Energy Transitions Ltd, an Ahmedabad-based company, has secured a significant turnkey contract worth ₹51.62 crore from Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (DGVCL). The contract, awarded on July 6, aims to enhance the electricity distribution infrastructure in parts of Gujarat.

As per the contract, Advait Energy will be responsible for supplying, installing, testing, and commissioning 11KV 55mm² AAAC Medium Voltage Covered Conductors (MVCC) along with related accessories. The company will also install additional poles wherever required, while DGVCL will provide the PSC and RSJ poles. Advait Energy will handle the project from supply to final commissioning, as the contract has been awarded on a turnkey basis.

The project will be executed under the Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana-2 (VKY-2) scheme or any other applicable government scheme. The total contract value, including taxes, is ₹51.62 crore, and the company expects to complete the project within 15 months. It is worth noting that the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not involve any related-party transaction.

This latest contract comes on the heels of another major development for the company. In June, Advait Energy's wholly-owned subsidiary, Advait BESS Bhesaan Private Ltd, signed a Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement (BESPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL). The agreement covers the development of a 150 MW/300 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project under GUVNL's Phase VIII programme.

The new contract is expected to further strengthen Advait Energy's order pipeline and improve the company's presence in the clean energy and power infrastructure business. Despite the fresh order announcement, shares of Advait Energy Transitions Ltd ended Tuesday's trading session at ₹2,148, down ₹34.80, or 1.59 percent, on the BSE. Investors will continue to monitor the company's execution of its growing order book and progress in the clean energy and power infrastructure business.

The project's completion is expected to have a positive impact on the electricity distribution infrastructure in Gujarat, providing better services to the residents and businesses in the region. With the increasing focus on clean energy and power infrastructure, Advait Energy is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for such services. The company's ability to execute large-scale projects and its growing order book are expected to drive its growth in the coming months.

As the company moves forward with the project, it will be important to monitor its progress and ensure that it is completed within the specified timeframe. The project's success will not only benefit Advait Energy but also contribute to the overall development of the power infrastructure in Gujarat. With its strong presence in the clean energy and power infrastructure business, Advait Energy is expected to play a significant role in shaping the future of the industry in India.

In the coming months, investors will be closely watching the company's progress and its ability to execute the project successfully. The company's stock performance will likely be influenced by its ability to deliver on its growing order book and its progress in the clean energy and power infrastructure business. As the demand for clean energy and power infrastructure continues to grow, Advait Energy is well-positioned to capitalize on this trend and drive its growth in the coming years.

The company's focus on clean energy and power infrastructure is expected to have a positive impact on the environment and the community. The project's completion will not only provide better electricity distribution services but also contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions and the promotion of sustainable energy solutions. As the company moves forward with the project, it will be important to monitor its progress and ensure that it is completed in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner.

In conclusion, the contract awarded to Advait Energy Transitions Ltd is a significant development for the company and the power infrastructure industry in Gujarat. The project's completion is expected to have a positive impact on the electricity distribution infrastructure in the region and contribute to the growth of the clean energy and power infrastructure business in India. As the company moves forward with the project, it will be important to monitor its progress and ensure that it is completed successfully and in a sustainable manner.
