Central Railway GM Hoists Flag on 80th Independence Day

Rajeev Shrivastava, General Manager of Central Railway, hoisted the National Flag at the Central Railway headquarters, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai on August 15, 2026, to mark the 80th Independence Day.

He also added that 11 Mail and Passenger trains have been upgraded to the status of regular trains, which will benefit passengers.

The event featured a presentation by the CR RPF Dog squad, including welcoming the General Manager, Fire hurdle jump, and Indian Flag identification. The event also featured a cultural presentation by artistes of Central Railway Cultural Academy, which continued despite heavy rains.
