Dombivli Honours 171 Organisations For World Record Tricolour Rally

On Sunday, Dombivli hosted a gratitude ceremony to honour 171 organisations and schools that contributed to the success of the world record Tricolour Rally held on Independence Day.

The rally, which featured a massive 35,000-square-foot national flag, saw the participation of thousands of students and citizens who marched with the giant Tricolour despite heavy rain.

Dr Shrikant Shinde, Kalyan Lok Sabha MP, presented certificates to representatives of the participating organisations, school principals, and teachers in recognition of their contribution to the historic event.

The event was officially recorded by World Records India, Asia Book of Records, and India Book of Records, making it a notable achievement for the city.
