A tragic accident occurred at an under-construction tunnel of the Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Limited (THDC) at Pipalkoti in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, resulting in the deaths of 7 people. The incident happened when water and debris entered the tunnel, trapping several workers inside.
