Madhya Pradesh Bans Analogue Paneer Production, Sale & Use

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has banned the production, sale, and use of analogue paneer in the state. This decision follows similar restrictions imposed by neighbouring states Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Chhattisgarh.

The ban was announced during a meeting with officials of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, where Yadav directed officials to stop the use of analogue paneer. The Food Safety Department in Indore promptly carried out an inspection, seizing around 450 kg of low-fat paneer suspected to be analogue paneer.

Yadav stated that the government aims to promote naturally produced milk products and protect the identity of Madhya Pradesh's dairy sector. He emphasized the importance of building the state's identity on the purity of naturally produced milk products.
