MP Police Arrest 6, Recover ₹5.5 Crore Jewellery

The Bilpank police registered a case and launched an investigation, analyzing over 300 CCTV recordings, cyber and technical evidence, and conducting field investigations. The police also recorded statements from the bus driver, conductor, and cleaner.

The investigation led to the detention of six suspects, who admitted to their involvement in the crime based on the evidence. The arrested individuals have been identified as Rahul Gurjar, Abhijeet alias Abhay Gurjar, Yashwant Gurjar, Rahul alias Veer Gurjar, Ravi alias Babla Gurjar, and Mohammad Umar alias Pappu.

Notably, one of the accused was an employee of the jewellery trader, while another ran a tea stall near the trader's shop. The police are still searching for two absconding individuals, Rohit Nayak and Gaurav Gurjar.

The recovered ornaments include 238 gold items weighing 4.167 kg and 183 silver items weighing 4.047 kg, along with their boxes. The police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
