Vande Bharat Express Gets 16 Coaches From August 7

The West Central Railway has announced a temporary revision to the coach composition of the Rewa–Rani Kamlapati–Rewa Vande Bharat Express. From August 7, 2026, to October 24, 2026, the train will operate with 16 coaches instead of the current 8. This change is in response to rising passenger demand and operational requirements.

The current coach composition consists of 8 coaches, including 1 Executive Chair Car and 7 Chair Cars, with a total seating capacity of 530 seats. The revised coach composition will apply to both Train No. 20174 (Rewa–Rani Kamlapati Vande Bharat Express) and Train No. 20173 (Rani Kamlapati–Rewa Vande Bharat Express) during the specified period. In other news, the Bhopal Division of West Central Railway has implemented a new token distribution system for Tatkal reservations.
