Bihar CM Launches Live Classes, Free JEE-NEET Coaching

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Thursday launched the 'Bihar School Live Classes' initiative, a programme that connects schools through video conferencing to a central teaching hub. This enables students to attend live classes delivered by subject experts.

The initiative was launched at the Government Girls' Higher Secondary School in Shastri Nagar, Patna. Under this programme, students will have access to quality education and modern technology. The chief minister also launched a free online coaching programme for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).

The free coaching programme has been introduced in 10 selected model schools in Patna. The programme aims to provide students with quality educational resources and help them prepare for competitive exams. The state education department has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with seven non-governmental organisations to promote innovation and improve the quality of education.

The collaborations will focus on areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), and STEM education. The chief minister interacted with students and reviewed the academic arrangements, urging them to study diligently and strive for excellence. He also stressed the importance of sports alongside academics for the holistic development of children.
