Jalgaon Zilla Parishad Schools Get Cleaned

On Saturday, August 29, a massive cleanliness drive was implemented in Zilla Parishad schools across Jalgaon district. The drive, which was organised by the district administration, saw the participation of women's self-help groups, local youths, and officials from the Zilla Parishad.

The initiative was conceived by Karishma Nair, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Jalgaon Zilla Parishad. The cleanliness drive covered 1,816 schools in the district, with classrooms, school premises, restrooms, and other nearby public spaces being cleaned.

Block Development Officers, Block Education Officers, Zilla Parishad officials, and village sarpanchs participated in the drive, along with local women's groups, self-help groups, and youths. The collective effort resulted in the transformation of the schools, with villagers appreciating the improved appearance of the institutions.

District Collector Rohan Ghuge visited the Zilla Parishad school in Malpur (Amalner taluka) and personally participated in the cleanliness drive. Similarly, Primary Education Officer Nilesh Patil visited the school in Adavad (Chopda taluka) and took part in the initiative.
