Shiv Sena Leader's Wife Demands Justice After Years of Abuse

A woman who claims to have been abused by her husband and his family has come forward to demand justice after years of suffering. She alleges that she was deceived into marriage with false promises and was subjected to physical and mental abuse, including bizarre and degrading acts and improper medical treatments. All nine accused named in this case played an equal role in ruining her life.

She seeks complete justice. The woman also rejected allegations made by her husband that she had demanded money during divorce mediation. She said that neither her family nor she ever demanded money.

She claimed that she was forced to manually count nearly Rs 18 lakh while she was ill and was subjected to unnecessary medical treatments, including antidepressants and medication to regulate her menstrual cycle, leaving her traumatized. According to the FIR lodged at Kapurbawdi Police Station in Thane, the woman alleged that she was deceived into marriage in 2017 with false promises about her husband s financial status, forced to leave her job, and subjected to repeated abuse, including bizarre and degrading acts and improper medical treatments. She further claimed that she was made to undergo unnecessary medical treatments, including antidepressants and medication to regulate her menstrual cycle, resulting in trauma.

She is seeking punishment for the accused. The complainant, Girija Raut, has denied all allegations and termed them as false. The case is under investigation.
