Anushka Sharma is an Indian actress and film producer who emerged as one of the leading Hindi-cinema stars of the 2010s. She made her acting debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the hit romance Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) and went on to take versatile leading roles across romances, dramas and thrillers, from Band Baaja Baaraat and PK to the gritty NH10 and the small-town drama Sui Dhaaga. In 2013 she co-founded the production house Clean Slate Filmz with her brother Karnesh, backing content-driven work such as NH10, the film Bulbbul and the acclaimed series Paatal Lok. She is regarded as one of her generation's most bankable and creatively ambitious performers.

Honours: Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress (Jab Tak Hai Jaan), plus three IIFA Awards and several other honours
