Juhi Chawla

Juhi Chawla is an Indian actress who became one of Hindi cinema's leading stars from the late 1980s through the 1990s. A former Miss India, she broke through opposite Aamir Khan in the 1988 romance Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and went on to headline hits such as Darr, Bol Radha Bol, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke and Yes Boss, often praised for her comic timing and girl-next-door screen presence. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke and formed one of the era's most popular on-screen pairings with Shah Rukh Khan. Beyond acting, she is a film producer and, alongside Shah Rukh Khan and her husband Jay Mehta, a co-owner of the IPL cricket franchise Kolkata Knight Riders.
