Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant Singh Rajput (1986–2020) was an Indian actor who worked primarily in Hindi cinema after first rising to fame on television. He became a household name playing Manav Deshmukh in the long-running soap opera Pavitra Rishta before making his film debut with the critically acclaimed Kai Po Che! in 2013. He went on to take on a range of leading roles, most notably portraying cricketer M.S. Dhoni in the biopic M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story and a college-reunion character in the hit Chhichhore. His death in June 2020 at the age of 34 prompted widespread public mourning and extensive media attention across India.
