A leading playback voice from the late 1980s onward, Udit Narayan became the go-to singer for the youthful romantic hero, especially opposite the era’s biggest stars. His bright, joyful tone graced many of the biggest hits of the 1990s and 2000s. He remains a much-loved live performer.
