NTPC Khargone Hosts Vendor Development Programme

NTPC Khargone recently organised an Entrepreneur Awareness and Special Vendor Development Programme in Sanawad, Madhya Pradesh, to promote inclusive entrepreneurship among Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs).

The programme was inaugurated by NTPC Khargone Head of Project Keshab Chandra Singha Roy, who was joined by Head of HR Pratibha Singh and Head of Contracts and Materials Vijay Mohanlal Solanki.

Aspiring SC/ST entrepreneurs attended the event, along with representatives from various stakeholder organisations, including the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), National SC-ST Hub (NSSH), District Trade and Industry Centre (DTIC), and banks.

Roy highlighted NTPC's commitment to promoting procurement from SC/ST-owned MSEs, in line with the Government of India's MSME policy. He encouraged entrepreneurs to leverage these opportunities and become valued partners in the country's growth journey.

The programme featured informative sessions on NTPC's vendor registration process, procurement policies, government support schemes, financial assistance, and digital procurement platforms. Experts from various organisations shared insights, providing valuable information to the attendees.
