ICSI WIRC Hosts 25th All India Debate Competition

The Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) successfully conducted the 25th All India Debate Competition – Mumbai Round on July 11, 2026, at the WIRC premises.

The event was led by CS Yogesh Choudhary, Chairman of ICSI-WIRC, as part of the Student Month Activities for July. A panel of esteemed judges, including CS Sargam Agrawal, CS Akshaya Bagwe, and Dr. Priyeta Priyadarshini, evaluated the participants.

A total of 18 students took part in the competition, showcasing their debating skills. After a rigorous evaluation, Ms. Mashley Ray was declared the winner of the competition. Ms. Zaara Lakdawala and Ms. Jeni Vaghasiya were announced as the 1st and 2nd runners-up, respectively.

The winner and the 1st runner-up will proceed to participate in the upcoming Regional Round of the Western India Regional Council. This competition provides a platform for students to develop their critical thinking, public speaking, and argumentation skills.
