UP Launches Abhiyan to Empower Rural Women

The Uttar Pradesh government has launched the Parivar Santriptikaran Abhiyan, a statewide campaign aimed at economically empowering rural women through self-help groups.

The campaign, which will run from August 5 to August 20, aims to identify eligible families that are not yet associated with self-help groups or the Rural Livelihood Mission.

Nodal officers at the development block and gram panchayat levels will conduct door-to-door surveys to identify these families and connect them with self-help groups.
