UP Excise Exports Grow 45.4% in Q1 2026-27

The state of Uttar Pradesh has witnessed a significant boost in its excise exports, with a growth rate of 45.4% in the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27. This growth is more than double the national average of 18.3% during the same period. The state's exports increased by 163% in volume terms, with an additional growth of nearly 39.9 lakh US dollars.

According to departmental figures, Uttar Pradesh's share in national exports has risen from 10.2% to 12.6%, placing the state third in the country after Maharashtra and Punjab. The state recorded growth in each month of the quarter, with excise exports worth approximately 127.8 lakh US dollars between April and June 2026.
