India, Japan Strengthen Defence Ties

India and Japan have pledged to strengthen their defence ties, with Japanese Defence Minister Shinjiro Koizumi attending a reception at the Indian Ambassador's residence in Tokyo. The reception, held on Thursday, was also attended by India's Ambassador to Japan, Nagma Mallick.
