Mumbai Police Crack ₹1 Crore Home Burglary of Actress Lopamudra Raut

A 26-year-old man from Bihar, identified as Chandan Mukhiya, has been arrested by the Mumbai police in connection with the burglary at the Santacruz residence of actress Lopamudra Raut. The burglary, which took place on July 14, resulted in the theft of over ₹1 crore worth of valuables.

The police have recovered stolen property worth ₹76.39 lakh from Mukhiya, including a Rolex watch worth ₹5 lakh and a 200-gram gold bar valued at ₹25 lakh. According to the police, Mukhiya had been reconnoitering the actress' residence for four to five days before the burglary. He allegedly used a bamboo stick to reach the balcony and stole gold and diamond jewellery, a Rolex watch, ₹54.6 lakh cash, and foreign currency.
