CM Yogi Adityanath Honours 1857 Hero in Rae Bareli
CM Yogi Adityanath pays tribute to Awadh Kesari Rana Beni Madhav Bakhsh Singh. He honours martyrs' families and distributes scheme benefits.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Rae Bareli on Monday to participate in the Bhav Samarpan Samaroh, organised on the occasion of the 222nd birth anniversary of Awadh Kesari Rana Beni Madhav Bakhsh Singh, a hero of the First War of Independence of 1857.
As the Chief Minister arrived, the venue resonated with slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram.’ He was welcomed with a Rudraksha sapling and a Trishul.
The Chief Minister visited the exhibition set up at the venue and released the Awadh Kesari Smarika. He also released a special cover prepared by the Department of Posts.
A newly constructed Awadh Kesari Rana Beni Madhav Bakhsh Singh Smriti Sabhagar, built at a cost of nearly Rs 21 crore, was inaugurated by the Chief Minister. A film based on the life journey, valour and bravery of Rana Beni Madhav Bakhsh Singh was also screened during the programme.
During the ceremony, the Chief Minister honoured family members of martyrs with shawls and certificates of honour. The families of Nayak Vinod Kumar, Nayak Rajendra Yadav, Nayak Surendra Yadav, and Havildar Randhir Singh were among those who were honoured.
The Chief Minister also distributed Ayushman Cards, laptops, and scheme benefits to the beneficiaries.
Minister Jaiveer Singh, Minister Rakesh Sachan, Minister Manoj Pandey, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Dinesh Singh, MLA Aditi Singh, and several other public representatives were present during the programme.
