NGT Probes Illegal Construction Near Van Vihar Park

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has taken notice of alleged illegal construction within 100 metres of the Van Vihar National Park boundary in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

The NGT's Bhopal Bench issued directions on Wednesday to authorities to take action in accordance with the law.

This came after a letter petition was filed, alleging that several multi-storey buildings had been constructed within the restricted zone in Prempura village.
