Madhya Pradesh Hit By Heavy Rain

Heavy rainfall is expected in several parts of Madhya Pradesh over the next four days due to two active monsoon systems.

In Shivpuri district, the body of a 21-year-old man was found near a riverbank after he was swept away while crossing a flooded causeway.

Heavy rainfall has also affected rural areas, with concerns about damage to soybean crops due to waterlogging in fields.

A bridge over the Gurah stream was submerged after heavy rain, and people were seen using a large vessel to cross the flooded stream.

The eastern region has recorded rainfall below normal levels, while the western part of the state continues to face a larger rainfall deficit.
