ABVP Wins All 9 MUHS Student Union And Senate Seats

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has won all nine seats in the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) Student Union and Senate Elections 2026.

The ABVP candidates secured all six positions in the Student Union, including President, two Vice-Presidents, Secretary, and two Joint Secretaries, along with all three seats in the Senate.

Rohit Madhukar Mali, a student of Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPTH), was elected President of the Student Union. Yashraj Dhananjay Kakad and Mithilesh Shrikrishna Mahore were elected Vice-Presidents. Dnyaneshwar Raosaheb Andhale was elected Secretary, while Keshav Sharad Patil and Devanshi Prashant Bhurane were elected Joint Secretaries.

In the Senate elections, Laxmikant Honkals Mokashe, Aditya Ramkisan Jaibhay, and Shubhankar Nitin Mangate were elected.

The election result is significant as it demonstrates ABVP's strong presence in Maharashtra's medical education sector. ABVP State Secretary Atharva Kulkarni said that the victory represents the triumph of nationalist thought and the faith reposed by students.
