Indore Police Launch Anti-Drug Campaign

Indore police launched the 'Nashe Se Doori, Hai Zaroori 2.0' campaign on Wednesday, a statewide anti-drug awareness drive. The campaign aims to encourage people, especially young citizens, to stay away from drugs.

The campaign will run from July 15 to July 30 across Madhya Pradesh, as directed by the Police Headquarters. Commissioner of Police Santosh Kumar Singh flagged off a large public awareness rally, distributing awareness badges to participants.

The rally saw around 2,500 participants, including students, NCC cadets, and local residents, who took a pledge to remain drug-free and inspire others to avoid substance abuse. Singh addressed the gathering, emphasizing that protecting young people from drug addiction is a shared responsibility of society.

He highlighted the harmful effects of drug abuse on individuals, families, and society as a whole. Singh appealed to citizens to stay away from drugs and motivate others to give up addiction. The campaign also features a special selfie point, encouraging people to share the message on social media.

The 'Nashe Se Doori, Hai Zaroori 2.0' campaign is part of a broader effort to address the issue of drug abuse in Madhya Pradesh. The police aim to create awareness and encourage citizens to take an active role in preventing substance abuse.

The campaign's message is simple: staying away from drugs is essential for a healthy and prosperous life. By engaging with citizens, especially young people, the police hope to make a positive impact and reduce the incidence of drug abuse.

The success of the campaign will depend on the participation and support of the community. As the campaign runs across the state, it is likely to reach a large audience and create a significant impact.

In the end, the 'Nashe Se Doori, Hai Zaroori 2.0' campaign is an important step towards creating a drug-free society. By working together, citizens and the police can make a difference and build a healthier, more prosperous community.

The campaign's impact will be felt not only in Indore but across Madhya Pradesh, as it aims to create a statewide movement against drug abuse. With the support of citizens, the police are confident that they can make a positive change and reduce the harm caused by substance abuse.
